Where image meets language.

Medea Kirimeli is a Georgian painter, calligrapher and art educator based in Tbilisi. Her practice brings together contemporary painting, the expressive possibilities of Georgian script, and questions of memory, heritage and identity.

Her work spans original paintings, experimental calligraphic compositions and commissioned family-heritage artworks.
